If I could teach … I hope you learn something from the columns of my diary

Unyatta

They say that life is a journey

Must have heard that in the nunnery

I’m no expert; all I know is my story

And perhaps what I’ve acquired from history

From the pain I’ve caused for which I’m sorry

To the memories for which I was able bring joy

From the shoes that I wore and they gave me victory

To the fails, the tests and all the adversary

Resting on the saddle on my back for which I carry

And the skeletons in my closet for I which I wish I could burry

Lessons hard learned mostly when I was angry

Plus others acquired from all over sometimes involuntarily

Sad memories for moments in time watching allies rest in the cemetery

And tears shed as they read the obituary

Rare moments of lonely nights in the penitentiary

And confessions that are creepy and scary

Perilous journeys taken as a missionary

And miracles experienced and their mystery

Family fights and the never ending secrecy

And breathtaking reconciliations that are teary

All this and more, coming forth from the columns of my diary

Written with precision and minimal hurry

Sessions studied down through my ancestry

Presented to you in my artistic ability

A collection of lifetime experiences presented as my documentary
