Driving across town
Moving at the speed of life
Sirens and alarms can be heard
Expression of panic and fear are visible
In the eyes of strangers with nameless faces
It makes you recognize how alone and troubled we are in this world
Life is just but a breath! One heartbeat at a time; so volatile and brittle;
A bird in the hand that’s bound to soon fly away
So when death comes to one of us; It comes to all of us
It is the one thing that we all have in our path
Sooner or later it’ll be knocking on the door!
It’s the one place we are all headed
And even though some of us have a belief that life goes beyond the grave …
Our grief drives us to wonder what the point if it all
Why try so hard when the future is uncertain?
What’s the point?
